Spices and teas are agricultural products. We treat them with the chemical rigor and ethical respect they deserve, ensuring absolute cleanliness and potency.
Historically, spice supply chains are convoluted, passing through up to ten middle-men. This results in stale crops and poor wages for growers.
We bypass the system entirely. We work directly with unified family guilds and farming cooperatives. By cutting the brokers, we pay our growers an average of 4.2x their local agricultural baseline.
Many commercial spices are cut with flour, food coloring, and irradiated to hide high bacteria counts. They can also contain concentrated heavy metals from contaminated soils.
Every batch we import undergoes testing at accredited laboratories. We test for: heavy metals (lead, cadmium), pesticide residues, microbial safety, and volatile oil content. We post batch results transparently.
Plastic spice containers leach microplastics and contribute to global waste. Commercial tea bags are often sealed with plastic polymers that leak millions of plastic particles into your cup.
We pack our spices in reusable glass jars with compostable labels and cork lids. Refills arrive in 100% compostable cellulose pouches. Our teas are entirely loose-leaf, avoiding bleached paper bags or plastic sealants.
No food coloring, flours, or chalk dust, ever.
Unusually high oil content for rich taste and aroma.
Safe sterilization using high-pressure steam, not radiation.
Traceable to the farming family and harvest season.
